King Fergus

King Fergus is the jovial Scottish monarch and devoted father in Disney Pixar’s Brave (2012). As the ruler of the Highland kingdom of DunBroch, Fergus is a larger-than-life character who lost his left leg to the legendary bear Mor’du, replacing it with a wooden peg leg that never slows him down. Despite his royal status, he’s refreshingly down-to-earth and approachable, often found regaling audiences with exaggerated tales of his legendary battle.

Voiced by Billy Connolly, Fergus serves as a loving counterbalance to his more serious wife Queen Elinor. He adores his spirited daughter Merida and secretly admires her rebellious streak, even when it causes friction with royal protocol.
