General Pong Krell stands as one of the most controversial figures to emerge from the Clone Wars era, serving as a cautionary tale of how the galaxy’s greatest protectors can fall to darkness. This towering Besalisk Jedi Master possessed four muscular arms, each capable of wielding a lightsaber with deadly precision, making him a formidable warrior on any battlefield. His imposing physical presence matched his commanding personality, though his methods would ultimately reveal a sinister agenda.

During the Clone Wars, Krell commanded clone troopers with an iron fist that bordered on cruelty. His tactical decisions often resulted in unnecessarily high casualty rates among his own forces, earning him a reputation for callous disregard for clone lives. What many perceived as harsh military pragmatism was actually something far more insidious – the four-armed general had secretly turned to the dark side and was deliberately sabotaging Republic operations.

Krell’s reign of terror ended on Umbara when the 501st Legion discovered his deception. Voiced by Dave Fennoy, this fallen Jedi remains a stark reminder of how the Clone Wars corrupted even those sworn to protect the innocent, leaving devastation in the wake of his dark ambitions.
