Things to know
When is the cheapest, quietest time to visit Walt Disney World?
Late January to mid-February and the back half of September are the sweet spots — lower crowds, shorter waits and softer ticket pricing, as long as you avoid the US public holidays.
How many days do I need for all four parks?
Four full days gets you one park each at a comfortable pace. Five lets you re-visit a favourite. Fewer than four and you'll be rushing — better to do three parks well than four badly.
Do I need to pay for the Lightning Lane?
Not always. On a low-crowd day with a rope-drop start, you can do a lot for free. On a peak day, it pays for the headliners. Our ride guides flag which rides are worth it.
Is Walt Disney World doable from the UK on a budget?
Yes, with planning. Off-peak flights, an off-site stay, and a tightly-planned park day make the biggest difference.
