Sunset Boulevard is the park’s thrill corner, a sun-bleached stretch of old Hollywood that hides its two biggest drops behind a movie-set facade. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror still delivers the finest theming and the best plunge on the whole resort, and it is now joined by Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, the high-speed relaunch that took over from the Aerosmith version in 2026. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, the park's two biggest thrill rides, sitting almost next to each other. Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage and Fantasmic! both play here too, which makes this the busiest end of the park after dark.
The drops are the real thing: a randomised sequence of falls and lifts rather than one predictable plunge, so you cannot brace for it. The queue and pre-show are genuinely excellent theming, but the ride itself is the most intense at Hollywood Studios.
