World Showcase is the 1.2-mile promenade around EPCOT's lagoon, holding eleven country pavilions built at a scale that reads as a permanent world's fair rather than a theme park land. For most of the circuit the architecture is the attraction. Several pavilions have no ride at all and offer films, galleries, live performers and restaurants staffed largely by people on Disney's international cultural exchange programme. Four carry rides: Frozen Ever After in Norway, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure in France, Gran Fiesta Tour in Mexico, and The American Adventure, if you count a 35-figure Audio-Animatronics show, which we do. It is also where EPCOT's four festivals live, and where Luminous The Symphony of Us plays on the lagoon each night. The promenade is 1.2 miles, so a brisk lap without stopping takes roughly 25 to 30 minutes. Nobody does that. Allowing three to four hours is realistic if you want to go inside pavilions, watch performers and eat, and most people underestimate it.

Luminous The Symphony of Us plays on the lagoon at the end of the night, so its start time moves with park closing and changes by season. Check the live hours at the top of this page, then arrive around 45 minutes early for a lagoon-front spot.
