Hollywood Boulevard is the park’s grand entrance, a technicolor take on 1930s Los Angeles that draws your eye straight down the street to the replica Chinese Theatre. Its headliner is Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, the trackless dark ride hidden behind that facade, and the rest of the boulevard leans on shopping, snacks and the daily motorcade of characters. Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway inside the Chinese Theatre replica, Red Carpet Dreams for character meets, and The Hollywood Brown Derby. It is the park's entrance street, so it does the same framing job Main Street does at Magic Kingdom.
A trackless dark ride that puts you inside a cartoon short, and the first ride ever built around Mickey and Minnie. It has no height requirement and no drops, which makes it one of the few genuine headliners the whole family can do together.
Hollywood Boulevard faces the Chinese Theatre, which is the projection surface for the evening shows, so anywhere along the street with a clear view of the facade works. Arriving 30 to 40 minutes early is usually enough outside peak season.
