Arthur Weasley serves as a dedicated employee of the Ministry of Magic, where he rose through the ranks from his early position in the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office to eventually head the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Despite coming from an old pure-blood wizarding family, he holds a deep fascination with Muggle technology and culture that sets him apart from many of his contemporaries. This curiosity often leads him to collect and experiment with non-magical objects, though his understanding of how they actually function remains charmingly limited.

As patriarch of the large Weasley family, he married Molly Prewett and together they raised seven children in their ramshackle home, the Burrow.
