About General Grievous

A towering cyborg general who commands the droid armies of the Separatists, General Grievous strikes terror into the hearts of Republic forces with his mechanical limbs and rasping voice. Originally a Kaleesh warrior from the planet Kalee, he underwent extensive cybernetic reconstruction that left only his brain and vital organs intact within a fearsome mechanical body. His yellow eyes burn with hatred for the Jedi, whom he hunts relentlessly across the galaxy.

Under the tutelage of Count Dooku, Grievous developed his signature combat style that allows him to wield four lightsabres simultaneously using his multiple arms. This unorthodox technique, combined with his superhuman speed and strength, makes him one of the most formidable opponents the Jedi have ever faced. His collection of lightsabres, taken from fallen Jedi Knights, serves as a grim trophy case of his victories.

As Supreme Commander of the Confederacy’s military forces, Grievous leads countless battle droids into combat whilst being protected by his personal IG-100 MagnaGuard droids. His strategic brilliance and ruthless tactics have earned him a fearsome reputation throughout the Clone Wars, with many considering him the Separatists’ most dangerous weapon.

Despite his mechanical enhancements, Grievous retains the proud warrior spirit of his Kaleesh heritage, viewing each battle as an opportunity to prove his superiority over organic beings. His distinctive coughing, caused by damage to his respiratory systems, has become an ominous harbinger of his presence on battlefields across the galaxy.
