Following his education, he secured a position as a governor on the Hogwarts Board of Governors whilst maintaining various roles within the Ministry of Magic. His marriage to Narcissa Black further solidified his connections to other prominent pure-blood families. However, beneath his respectable exterior lay a darker allegiance—he served as one of Lord Voldemort’s Death Eaters, using his wealth and political connections to advance the Dark Lord’s agenda whilst publicly maintaining his innocence.
