Despite her gruff exterior and tendency to complain about payment delays, she demonstrates genuine care for both her mechanical assistants and the travellers who seek her services.

The hangar owner first encountered the Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin when he arrived seeking repairs for his ship, the Razor Crest. Initially suspicious of his mysterious passenger—later revealed to be Grogu—she quickly developed a protective fondness for the young creature. Her maternal instincts emerged as she insisted on looking after Grogu during various missions, often treating him to meals and providing a safe haven when needed.

Amy Sedaris brings warmth and authenticity to the role, infusing the character with a combination of practical wisdom and unexpected tenderness. Her performance captures the essence of someone who has spent years surviving on a harsh desert world whilst maintaining her humanity and sense of humour.
