Quinlan Vos

Quinlan Vos stands out amongst the Jedi Order as one of its most unconventional members, wielding the rare ability of psychometry—reading the memories and emotions embedded within objects through touch. This unique Force power shapes both his investigative methods and his willingness to walk the line between light and dark. Originally trained by Master Tholme, he later becomes master to the Twi’lek Jedi Aayla Secura, though his own path proves far more turbulent than traditional Jedi teachings would prescribe.

During the Clone Wars, the maverick Jedi undertakes increasingly dangerous missions that blur moral boundaries. His most significant assignment involves infiltrating the Separatists by posing as a dark side user, a deception that requires him to genuinely embrace Sith teachings. This mission leads to an unlikely alliance with former Sith assassin Asajj Ventress, who becomes both his partner and eventual romantic interest. Their relationship defies Jedi doctrine, yet proves crucial to his survival in the criminal underworld.

The undercover operation eventually exposes him to Count Dooku’s direct tutelage, pushing the Jedi Knight further towards the dark side than any member of the Order has ventured and returned from. His psychometric abilities become both blessing and curse, as touching Sith artefacts floods his mind with centuries of accumulated hatred and malevolence. This constant exposure to darkness tests his resolve and threatens to corrupt his fundamental nature.

Al Rodrigo voices this complex character throughout Star Wars: The Clone Wars, bringing depth to a Jedi who challenges conventional notions of heroism whilst remaining fundamentally committed to protecting the innocent, even when his methods scandalise his fellow Order members.
