Temmin “Snap” Wexley serves as a skilled X-wing pilot in the Resistance’s Blue Squadron, bringing both technical expertise and fierce determination to the fight against the First Order. Born on the Outer Rim world of Akiva in 11 BBY, he grew up during the tumultuous final years of the Galactic Civil War as the son of former Imperial turned Rebel pilot Norra Wexley.
Following in his mother’s footsteps, Snap trained at the New Republic Military Academy under the legendary Wedge Antilles, where he honed the piloting skills that would later prove crucial in major Resistance operations. His mechanical aptitude and quick reflexes made him a natural fit for starfighter combat, whilst his rebellious streak earned him the nickname that stuck throughout his military career.
Snap played a vital role during the Resistance’s desperate mission to destroy Starkiller Base, piloting his T-70 X-wing alongside Poe Dameron in the daring trench run that ultimately saved the galaxy from the First Order’s planet-killing weapon. His technical knowledge proved invaluable in coordinating the complex attack strategy that exploited the superweapon’s thermal oscillator weakness.
The pilot met his end in 35 ABY during the climactic battle over Exegol, where he joined the massive fleet of volunteers answering Lando Calrissian’s call to confront Emperor Palpatine’s Final Order. Though his sacrifice came at the ultimate cost, Snap’s courage helped secure the final victory that restored freedom to the galaxy.
