Governor Arihnda Pryce stands as one of the most calculating and ruthless Imperial administrators in the Star Wars galaxy. Born on the Outer Rim world of Lothal between 49-45 BBY, she rose from humble beginnings as the daughter of a mining family to become the planet’s Imperial governor through a combination of political cunning and unwavering ambition.

Her path to power began when her family’s mining company, Pryce Mining, faced financial difficulties. Rather than accept defeat, she manoeuvred her way into Imperial service, eventually betraying her own homeworld’s interests to secure her position within the regime. This cold pragmatism defined her approach to governance, as she prioritised Imperial objectives over the welfare of Lothal’s citizens.

During the events of Star Wars Rebels, Pryce became a primary antagonist to the Ghost crew and the growing rebellion on Lothal. Her tactical acumen and willingness to employ extreme measures made her a formidable opponent, though her obsession with crushing the rebels ultimately proved to be her downfall. Voice actress Mary Elizabeth McGlynn brought a steely authority to the character, capturing both her intelligence and her capacity for cruelty.

In 1 BBY, Pryce met her end during the liberation of Lothal, choosing to destroy the Imperial Complex rather than face capture.
