Portrayed by Emily Dale
A talented Quidditch player and courageous Gryffindor student, this witch served as Chaser on her house team throughout most of her Hogwarts years. Born in the late 1970s, she began her magical education in 1990, making her two years senior to Harry Potter’s famous cohort. Her athletic prowess on the pitch quickly established her as a reliable team member, contributing to Gryffindor’s competitive edge in inter-house matches.
During her sixth year, she became an unwitting victim in one of Lord Voldemort’s most sinister plots against Albus Dumbledore. Whilst on a trip to Hogsmeade, she was placed under the Imperius Curse and forced to transport a cursed necklace intended for the headmaster. The dark object’s malevolent magic severely injured her when she accidentally made contact with it, resulting in her hospitalisation at St Mungo’s Hospital for several months.
Despite this traumatic experience, she demonstrated remarkable resilience by returning to complete her education. When Hogwarts became a battleground in May 1998, she chose to stand with the resistance rather than flee to safety. Her participation in the Battle of Hogwarts alongside former classmates and teachers showcased the same bravery that had earned her place in Godric Gryffindor’s house.
Her fears centred around the Dark Lord himself, reflecting the very real dangers that students faced during the Second Wizarding War. Though her magical abilities included producing a non-corporeal Patronus, the specific details of her wand remain unrecorded in official Ministry records.
