Born on the remote world of Hyperkarn in 15 ABY, Rey emerged as one of the most significant Force-sensitive individuals of her generation. Abandoned on the desert planet Jakku as a child, she spent years as a scavenger, surviving by salvaging parts from the wreckage of old Imperial and Rebel ships scattered across the barren landscape. Her harsh upbringing developed remarkable mechanical aptitude and fierce independence, skills that would prove essential in the conflicts to come.

The discovery of BB-8 and subsequent encounter with Finn marked the beginning of her journey into galactic affairs. Despite having no formal training, she demonstrated extraordinary Force abilities almost immediately, including mind influence and lightsabre combat. Her natural talents caught the attention of both the Resistance and the dark side, setting her on a collision course with Kylo Ren and the First Order.
