Pandora is six acres of alien rainforest built on the site of the old Camp Minnie-Mickey, and nine years after opening it is still the most technically ambitious thing at Animal Kingdom. Cantilevered floating mountains, a bioluminescent night walk that is worth timing your day around, and two rides pitched about as far apart as two rides can be: Avatar Flight of Passage, a flight simulator that holds the longest queue at Walt Disney World on most days, and Na'vi River Journey, a gentle four-minute boat ride that ends at the Shaman of Songs, one of the finest Audio-Animatronics figures Disney has built. It holds the longest queue at Walt Disney World on most days, which tells you what the consensus is. It is a flight simulator with a genuinely convincing sense of movement, and the queue itself is heavily themed rather than a holding pen. Ride it at opening or with Lightning Lane if you value your day.
After dark. The bioluminescent paint and lighting across the floating mountains and plants only read properly at night, and it is worth timing your day so you pass back through rather than seeing Pandora once in daylight and leaving.
No live ones. Pandora is the only land in Animal Kingdom with no animals in it, which is a strange thing to say about a park built around a zoological operation and is exactly why it stands apart from the rest of the park.
